White energy-efficient LED plus yellow and orange colour filters

The low-energy SMD LED lasts up to 50,000 hours and helps extend the life of the included two AA batteries. It shines white light onto your subject, enhancing contrast between text and background. This makes letters and words stand out, making them easier to read. Eschenbach’s ‘step-up’ light technology ensures consistent brightness, keeping your subject evenly lit. If the white light is too bright, you can soften it with the included orange or yellow filters. Simply snap the filter over the LED to adjust the light to your preference.

Ergonomically-designed handle

The Mobilux LED feels solid yet comfortable in your hand. Its slim profile and soft, rounded edges are smooth and pleasant to hold. A sliding switch sits conveniently under your fingers, allowing easy control of the light. The handle also shows magnification strength and the recommended working distance in millimetres for optimal text and image clarity.

Includes batteries, case and instructions

Protect the lens with the soft black case included. It helps prevent dust accumulation and guards the lens from accidental knocks or spills. The Mobilux requires two AA batteries. These are included, along with instructions and a cleaning guide. The battery compartment is on the underside, featuring an easy-open clip for access, even for those with limited hand mobility. Inside, an embossed diagram shows the correct battery orientation. Two eyelets at the base of the handle allow you to attach a lanyard (not included) if needed.
