When Schweizer developed the Okolux range, they created the world’s first modular magnifier system. With interchangeable lens heads and handles, it enables you to switch and swap lenses without having to buy an entire new magnifier each time your eyesight changes.

Lens only

This 2x magnification / 8 diopter rectangular lens head measures 4 x 3″ / 100 x 76mm in size. It fits onto the end of an LED handle, which can also be purchased separately. Designed for people who cannot easily focus or hold a magnifier, the lens is set into a protective housing and raised a few centimetres so that it is always in focus when placed on a flat surface. Instead of having to lift or move the magnifier around, you have the option of using it like a stand magnifier, and just bringing your eyes to the lens until you can clearly see your subject below.

For blind, partially-sighted and low vision requirements

Such is the versatility of the system, along with the outstanding quality of the aspheric lenses, that Okolux magnifiers are often prescribed by health professionals for people with low vision or partially impaired sight. Many more will like the flexibility of a magnifying system, which allows you to replace or upgrade lenses whenever your eyes tell you it’s time for a change.
