It is extremely comfortable to use thanks to its clever tilted lens, which has been designed to aid use over long periods without neck strain. As such it is the perfect hands-free stand magnifier for discerning professionals and serious hobbyists.

Energy-saving LEDs with choice of colours

There is a choice of two integrated, pre-selectable light filters to assist reading comfort: alternate between ‘cool blue’ or ‘warm orange’ according to the lighting temperature and intensity which works best for your subject;. Both offer even, glare-free illumination, powered by two high-contrast LEDs. As well as being easy on the eye, the Visolux lighting system it is kind to the environment too: the light automatically switches off after 30 minutes to prevent unnecessary power consumption.

Glass-like lenses for optical clarity

A unique double lens system ensures crisp, edge-to-edge sharpness when viewing. Made from PXM material, the lens is lightweight and shatter-proof, with a patented hard surface coating that gives a level of clarity and scratch-resistance similar to glass. A hard foam case offers protection for the Visolux when not in use. Takes 3 x AA batteries (not supplied).
