Two-in-one hand and stand magnifier

This solid rectangular magnifying glass comes with an extra trick or two. At first glance it’s a hand held magnifier with oblong-shaped lens to help read newsprint and text. But beneath the lens are two pull-out metal legs, so you can turn it into a hands-free stand magnifier too. Use it when you need to keep hands free – to remove a splinter, to move an object around below the lens, or just to give your hands a rest. Simply fold the legs back into the frame when you want to use it as a conventional magnifying glass.

Large lens, clear magnification window

The lens on this magnifier measures about 3.3 x 2″/85mm x 50mm, and sits atop an angled handle with comfortable rubberised grip. There’s nothing on the lens to impede the view. Instead a more powerful 11.5x spot lens is positioned separately at the top of the handle. From the main lens you get a large 2x magnification window, perfect for left to right tracking of text, for viewing photos or magnifying other subjects. Protective pouch supplied.
